Anti-Ragging
Commitment to a Ragging-Free Campus
St. Wilfred's College of Law is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and ragging-free environment for all its students. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within and outside the campus and is a punishable offense under the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009.
What Constitutes Ragging?
Ragging includes any act of physical or mental abuse (including bullying and exclusion) targeted at another student on the grounds of color, race, religion, caste, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, appearance, nationality, regional origins, linguistic identity, place of birth, place of residence or economic background.
Anti-Ragging Committee
The college has constituted a dedicated Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad to prevent and address any incidents of ragging. The committee ensures compliance with the anti-ragging regulations and takes prompt action on any complaints.
Reporting Incidents
Students are encouraged to report any incident of ragging without fear. Complaints can be made to any member of the Anti-Ragging Committee, the Principal, or through the designated complaint boxes. The identity of the complainant will be kept confidential.
